The Game

You just lost The Game. Lawl.

Ahah. You just lost the game.

Anyway. It’s been floating around for the past couple of weeks and, to be honest, it’s just begging to be blogged about. So here we go.

The Game is a game with simple, yet complex rules. You lose the game every time you think about The Game and must exclaim “I’ve just lost the game” aloud wherever you are when you lost it. This triggers other people to lose The Game and it’s like a domino effect. The only way to win The Game is when nobody thinks about it. Got it?

By now, you’ve probably lost about 6 or 7 times. Sucker. But why does it exist? Well, because it’s a game usually played by word of mouth, there’s no evidence of its existence before August 2002 on a person called aardvark on his blog. Strange fellow. But anyway, there are four main players for the original creator of The Game, one of which started its main journey here in Northampton, wouldn’t you know. :)

It’s all a bit of harmless fun, even if it is rather geeky. It’s fun to do in Computing, of all lessons, you see. Mainly because they are perhaps the most out-of-tune people you’ll find. Have fun losing.
