Tweet. :) Web 2.0 fans rejoice. Raconteur. has just got Twitter. Hooray. Well, sort of.

I was originally looking for a WordPress plugin which would let me put a little status message at the top of my blog. Something to say "Matt has just updated the Idents section", "Matt is back from a friend’s house" or something like that.

Then I realise that I do it already – on both Facebook and MySpace – and with the Facebook API technical stuff, there must be a way to get my Facebook status out of Facebook onto my blog using a plugin. Apparently not. I’m still looking, so if you come across one, give us a shout. :)

So anyway, there were loads of plugins for this site called Twitter. I’m sure some of you would’ve heard of it before, but  if you haven’t, it’s a website where you post a short message about what your doing for the world to see. Kind of like Facebook and MySpace, just that’s the only thing it does.

What I thought these plugins would do would be to show my recent tweets (ie, my little messages) somewhere on my blog for you all to see. While it’d be a bit strenuous to update all the time, I wasn’t fussed about it. When I realised it actually just posted what you’ve blogged about. Hey, I’m all for free advertising.

So if you’ve got Twitter, follow us and get updates when I blog. Wow, you must be real cool… ;)

I think you should blog about Download Day for Firefox 3, when it releases. Help spread the word. Help set a world record.

    Find out more at http://www.spreadfirefox.com/en-US/worldrecord/

    Do it. =P
