I thought I would’ve been able to send them off by now, but queues and driving lessons have appeared at the worst possible times…
I said before that I was going to send Andy and Simon birthday presents, right? So, with Simon, I sent him the AAA batteries he needed to power his torch. I know, I’m such a kind person (and he asked for them).
For Andy, I sent a small bag of Haribo. That’s because I’m so nice. But I’ve got them both a big bag of Maltesers which I’ll deliver to their houses at some point. 2 for £2.50. Wilkinson. Go get them.
I also said I’d annoy Andy by sending him some fake news, which I’ve done. It actually looks crap, but I know he’ll hate the news at first sight. So I did it. I also sent him some lovely post-it notes which, if put in the right order spell out "LEICESTER SMELL", a statement I know really pisses him off from English last year.
As for Carl – well – I sent him something random. I sent him a "Doubtful British Citizen Emergency Pack". It didn’t seem such a square and geeky idea at half midnight, but it contains a picture of the Queen, the Union Flag, a 5p coin and a teabag.
So I technically can’t tick them off of my list just yet, but eventually I can do.
