If you haven’t got a copy already, run down and buy a copy of the Northampton Chronicle and Echo today. Even if you don’t live here, just run. Now.
If you’re too bone-idle to do that, then I suggest you read the article online. From the article:
“More than 75 people descended on a Northampton sofa store to take part in the latest internet craze.
The crowd, consisting of mostly teenagers, sat on settees at DFS, in St James Retail Park, Towcester Road, for 10 minutes starting at noon.
They were taking part in a new activity known as a “flash mob” where a large number of people congregate in a public place for a short period of time.”
It was actually quite an amusing 10 minutes, especially picking a venue such as DFS, which always gets popular on a bank holiday, was quite an idea by whoever came up with it.
I’m glad to hear the next one is already being thought out, especially since the Pirate Flash was so successful. Unfortunately, the workers knew about this DFS one, which made it less exciting than the previous one.
I will definitely be attending the next one and, hopefully, we will be as a group of friends.
