As most summer holidays go, I’ve been really bored as of late. So I’ve resorted to my Xbox games. But they’re now lacking in substance. I wanted something new and interesting. I’ve always liked the look of Rock Band, but that’s always been too expensive. So now I’m pondering – for the future – should I get Rock Band 2 or Guitar Hero 4?
Rock Band, as I’m sure you well know, is a game where you basically… well… form a band. You’ve got 2 guitars (Obviously, one being the bass), a drummer and a singer. It’s got more variety than the Guitar Hero III I have already, which can only be a good thing. I don’t think I’d be very good at the whole singing thing, which is why I’ve got that video to demonstrate how to get around that in a quite humorous way.
Guitar Hero 4, on the other hand, is essentially Guitar Hero III with… a drum set and a microphone. I’ve gotten used to the whole Guitar Hero feel, and it’ll probably be cheaper than Rock Band. But Rock Band seems just that little bit cooler.
Shrug. I know I sound like an utter nerd asking you all this, but how shall I make sure my free time is wasted effectively?
