I had to go down to Kingsthorpe today to get some money out of my savings to pay for some more driving lessons. I’m at 20 lessons, now, so I shouldn’t have to delve into my savings to pay for them much longer. Anyway, afterwards I went into ASDA to pick up some shampoo. On the way I got distracted on some offers. 3 for £2 on Oreos and cheaper Relentless. Result.

God I’m such a loser.
I thought “I know. Sugar will get me through this load of maths work I need to do this weekend!” and got some.
I’d had Oreos before, so they weren’t much of a surprise. But what I hadn’t had before was Relentless. I mean, I’d heard people raving about it, and I’m a fan of Lucozade, so I should love it, right?
I did. It’s amazing stuff. It’s like Coke for rebellious teenagers. It didn’t give me much of a boost at the time, but I felt it when it’d ran out.
I had this Lucozade Alert stuff from Londis near school yesterday, because I knew I wouldn’t stay awake during double Geography on a Friday afternoon without it. That was £1.15 (5p less than the Relentless, which was on special offer) and, while it tasted somewhat like that Etna Juice from Sicily, worked very well.
So I’ve decided. I know a few people who’ve been down this path, but it’s time I went down it too. I’m going to become a caffeine junkie. YEAH. CAFFIENE!
(Oh. And, if you care, my homework for this week from one teacher took me nine hours to complete. Mind you, that was with distractions once the sugar wore off…)
