Okay, so this is a bit nerdy. If you don’t like nerd things, just stop reading now. Stopped? Okay. Good.
So you know about Plurk, right? If you don’t, then I suggest that you click that link up the top of the blog page about it. You’ll soon get the hang of it. But basically, Plurk is a microblogging site where you send little updates to your friends about what you’re doing, so you feel more connected.
One of the advantages of microblogging is that it’s so quick you can do it anywhere. Plurk being fairly new, it didn’t have a great mobile plurking service. In Mobile Safari – the little browsers in the iPhones and iPod Touches – the main site was too fiddly and the mobile site was lacking in features.
Enter iPlurk. It’s an application which works with Plurk to read them, reply and do virtually everything you’d do on the main site.
Plurk user Katharine allowed me to test it, kindly, and helped shape it’s outlook somewhat. I don’t know how much I changed it personally, but I helped identify a couple of holes in it.
After a few builds, it’s now available to download in the App Store for £1.19. Get it if you have an iPhone and love Plurk, yeah?
Even if you don’t, go to the page in the App Store and go see my lovely Christmas mug shot in the first screenshot. Whey. If only I didn’t say "bugger me".

I’d buy it, if it was 59p,99p? 1.19£ seems too much.
Does it need to?
I’d buy it if I had an iTouch or an iPhone…
