Although living in a Catholic country (Portugal), where we celebrate Mardi Gras (or Carnival, whichever you prefer), I couldn't care less about a bunch of guys/girls parading around in stupid costumes, to be frank. Thus, and in the spirit of Protestantism (which is my religion), Shrove Tuesday is my way to go. So go an eat those pancakes, 'cos they're yummy (just ate some now :P)! Nice post!
