See, now we’re technically a quarter of the way through the year, and it’s time to assess whether I’ve actually changed yet… again.
This month has been a somewhat amazing one. I’ve made sure a weekend hasn’t passed without doing something absolutely fantastic. Forgetting the fact that every weekend I seem to upset people, this has been the best month this year. Bloody good and all, as the other ones have been pretty shitty. But let’s see why this month has been awesome for the one and only…
My posture
I… don’t know really how to update you on this one. It’s… pretty good. Okay, so I slouch way too much, but I wouldn’t be human if I didn’t slouch at all.
Still no real news on the chair thing, but I’ve found a way to make it sort of work, assuming you don’t mind it making a really loud click if you lean back too much. It’s a little reminder that you shouldn’t… stretch when at a desk? Stupid thing…
Lack of henchness
Again, I’m sort of… doing the same as last month here. So far, this is really exciting, isn’t it…
The monthly exercise thing is the same as last months push-ups, just more reps. Yay. How fun is that now that hundredpushups thing is finished…
Will made a passing remark (believe me, you could probably count it as a slip of the tongue) that I’ve gotten stronger since I started. I’d bloody well hope so, y’know, but thanks anyway.
It’s sort of at the point where I’m not the new guy any more, and there’s more people sort of getting into the whole gym thing, like Dan. It puts me at ease more. Only a little, but it’s still more.
It’s all about going out and doing things. The more active you are, the more compelled you are to do proper exercise, and the more hencher…er you get. That’s probably not true in the slightest, but I’d like to think so.
Poor excuse for style
Again, I’m really not a style person anyway and another month has passed with buying no new clothes at all, despite being given £40 for the elicit purpose by my mother. My car seems to drink petrol like some sort of whore down St. James, and it just goes into that. That sucks.
I’ve been meaning to organise some sort of shopping trip with people who know what they’re doing, but recently haven’t had the time nor the money… or the right people to do it with. Maybe some other time.
It’s nearing summer, so I need some summer clothes at least, seeing as outside becomes more of a viable option. For that I need a job. For that, people need to stop thinking I’m crap at anything I could get paid for… grr.
My nerdy lifestyle
Not a lot changes, does it. I still giggle whenever someone types rude words into a calculator.
I’ve come to the realisation that everything nerdy seems to get sold pretty well on Amazon, so it’s a win win situation for me. I’m pretty much waiting on the sale of my Series 2 Doctor Who box set to get me some nice moneyage, but nobody wants it. How rude.
I’ve not been a total nerd this month and not done anything *gasp* outside. I’ve done loads with lots of people. It’s fun, and it doesn’t strain my eyes. Oh my.
SocialElement has left sitting idle, which I might replace eventually when I make this flash game for Kongregate… if that isn’t too nerdy in itself. You can see a little bit of it here, where I’ll just keep updating it whenever I make any sort of major change to it. It’s not much of a game now, but yeah, people wanted to see it.
My hairstyle
Yeah. Some nasty woman cut my hair off again. How rude. At least this one did what I asked and got rid of the mullet thing going on to a point where it won’t grow back in a week’s time.
I get it cut, then people start complimenting my hairstyle. Nadine (or Jack, I can’t remember) said it was reminiscent of the Beatles sort of hairstyle, which is awesome. But now its so boring and, dare I say it, more generic than before. I can’t even use my hair stuff anymore because it’s too short and just makes it look greasy. Argh.
Hair grows back, though. It’s not the end of the world.
Social ineptness
Ahah. Now here’s a section that’s actually had interesting things happen.
As I said, this month has had so many awesome things dotted in it. Some I blogged about, like Bates’ party, and some I didn’t, like Nadine’s 18th. Both of these, amongst other things, have sort of made me come out (metaphorically, don’t worry) to the outside world.
I’ve done things this month I never envisioned ever happening. Things that make me feel happy, and give me some sort of light at the end of the tunnel. The trick is to go in and do what your heart tells you is right, and if it’s not, then your head can sort it out later. But thankfully that hasn’t been the case, and everything that’s happened has made me oh-so-happy to be alive. Hehe.
Not a risk-taker
I can’t really see how I can fulfil this one ever, but hey, here goes nothing…
Again, I did things I didn’t think I would ever do with people I never thought would either. You people are awesome.
As for anything… else, I haven’t really done anything else. How boring. We must organise something overly awesome, yeah?
What’s set for the next quarter, as we reach my birthday, eh? Who knows. Hopefully, something pretty wonderful for my 18th.

I introduce all these people to the gym and what thanks do I get…huh!
And pretty much yeah, the more you do/go the less you feel like a pillock =P
You mean you haven’t redeemed your cool points yet?
…redeemed?
Yeah. Did you not go to see Vass by the half term you introduced the person in? Shame. Wasted.
You could still redeem for Dan, though…
Pfft I introduced Will, You AND Dan :/
what a waste of cool points
