V said the other day I don’t blog enough, and Jack said a good year or so ago that he prefers it when I blog about me, rather than random crap that I think is quite interesting. So I’ll do just that. A little update on me and my life. Now sit there and enjoy it. 
I thought 2009 would actually suck considerable amounts of arse judging by how it started. In reality, it has. Most people seem more depressed, friendships are falling apart and people are leaving. But hey, at least March doesn’t suck all that much. This month I seem to be doing more things. Things seem to be happening. I like it when things actually happen.
The weekend of the 8th was quite awesome. We went to MK, thanks to John’s planning, his rather lacklustre directions and my ability to get people places. Finally met Nadine properly for the first time. She’s a nice lass, eh? But anyway, we went to look around MK, went to Pizza Hut, watched Becky and Nadine get fired up in the human slingshot and had some nice retro bowling. Oh, and we somehow got some funky new, completely sole-less shoes. Total coincidence…
Then last week was a bit… awkward. I acted like a bit of an arse, and deserved every bit of hatred I got. But then I got invited to a little pool-off with lots of awesome people like Will, Dan, Gazz, Andy and… oh, Nadine again. It was up at Sixfields, so we went to McDonalds after that for some late-night McFlurry action. Then we went down to the stadium and hung out like ‘all’ teenagers do on the wheelchair ramp. Good times were had.
Then on the Saturday, as luck would have it, Dan invited me down his house where him, Will and Gazz were playing some Xbox, and I just happened to get a random text to him at the right time. We headed down to Tenpin to play more pool, and got back to Dans at gone midnight. Blimey. Time flies. Thing is, it made me realise that people are completely different once you actually spend time with them, and I feel like an arse for the past week.
Next weekend is taken up by Bates’ Party 2, John’s Tanya meal thing (don’t worry, we won’t actually eat *her*, as such) and computing coursework. It’s my aim to make every weekend a fun weekend this month, so anyone who wants to plan something awesome for the 28th, by my guest.
