I’ve done a couple of posts recently which I quickly deleted, so while you haven’t heard from me (probably) in a while, I haven’t been ignoring you. Why would I ignore you? You’re awesome. You need to sort your life out if you’re worried. Geez.
I watched this video the other day, which got me thinking. It’s a concept given the rather unimaginative title of The Cube. Basically, it asks you to do a few simple things.
First imagine a simple desert landscape. Nothing else. Sand and sky. Then what you do is add things to the scene. A cube. A ladder. A horse. A storm. A bunch of flowers.
Along the way you’re invited to describe how you imagine these situations and it reveals your personality. For example, if the ladder leans against the cube, your friends are supportive of you, etc.
It’s a really interesting little concept, which I did with a couple of people today. While you can only get the real sort of interpretation by buying the book with the analysis in it, it’s good to take how someone else would interpret it and see if it has any truth in your life.
