Oh hai there. Just a quick update about a little project some of you know is happening. It’s not really Raconteur related, but hey, I know you’re interested.
For those following me on Plurk and – to a lesser extent – Twitter, you’ll know there’s a little game you can play which has been going by the code name Ball Game. You play as a little ball with a face on, who bounds through levels and so on.
Well, it’s kind of been a side project, but I wanted to get it done before I leave for university. Seeing as that’s five days away, I thought I’d take it from being tested by a small few to being tested by the masses.
So I’d like you to go play it. Go play it here. It’s ripping good fun!
Bearing in mind it’s not a finished product, I’d like some feedback from it. Give it to me in whatever way you can contact me. Commenting on this post is fine.
But anyway, I still need your help. While you can go play through that game as much as you like, you have the opportunity to have a little bit of you in the game by designing your own level for me. Woop!
You can use this rather handy level editor to make your levels. Just, when you’ve finished making the level, take a screenshot and save that somewhere where I can see it. Try somewhere like Imageshack. It doesn’t have to be detailed, just something I can work from. Don’t forget to leave a name or something so I can give you some praise in-game when I release it… eventually…
So yeah. That’s The Ball Game, which will hopefully be finished and out there in the next month or so. Happy days! =]
