That’s a video from the Armstrong and Miller sketch show on BBC One. I love how it really just reflects how pretty much everyone else saw the London 2012 logo, apart from the actual designers.
So with just over 1000 days until the games come to London, do people still oppose the logo? I know I still see it more like Lisa Simpson doing something inappropriate to Bart, but that’s me…
The answer is yes.
Polls suggest around 78% of people still really hate it, with only 10% being strongly for it. It’s been likened to things such as a Swastika, Vicky Pollard and the Elephant man, and other such negative things. Oh, how British of us.
To be fair, I’ve gotten used to it. I’ve gotten used to it being the embarrassment of the whole London 2012 affair (that is, until Boris inevitably trips up during the opening ceremony), but at least I’m used to it.

just google 2010 olympic logo and you’ll find hundreds of better ones which took people like 5 minutes to make
