Be a Movie Producer!

I know, I know. This sounds quite like one of those emails you collect in your inbox offering you the chance to get an instant diploma or… some part of your body enlarged. But no, if Philip Schofield and Stephen Fry are on board, it can’t be a scam (hopefully).

Clovis Dardentor Logo Toby Stubbs, Benjamin Robbins and Adrian Bliss are three aspiring young film-makers from London. They found an unpublished story called Clovis Dardentor and wanted to use it to get up in the world of film making. Obviously, they hit a snag – Money. What could they sell in a movie to get the £1 million to get the film shot? Their idea? The end credits.

You can donate as little as £1 on buyacredit.com to get your name on the closing credits when the movie (hopefully) gets released to cinemas towards the end of 2010.

Clovis Dardentor is an apparent feel-good movie, where two young friends try to find a way out of their financial troubles with gangsters by rescuing a generous billionaire called Clovis Dardentor, who says they will give great fortune to whoever saves his life. The problem is, he doesn’t need saving just yet, so they go on an adventure to try and endanger his life to save him.

Okay, so it sounds very Disney. But hey, if I can see my name on the end credits instead of walking out of the cinema totally ignoring them, all’s well. The estimated length of the end credits is about 10-15 minutes, depending on how generous people are feeling.

So I’m sure you’ve got some free money on your phone thanks to some sort of offer you’ve got going on, go donate to movie history. :)
