Flashmob Northampton – The Great Grosvenor Freeze

Grosvenor Centre Ahh, it’s flash mob season once more. One of my favourite past-times would be be pretending to be a pirate or hit lots of people with pillows. But alas, the guy who ran them couldn’t run them after the Thriller flashmob. Thankfully all is not lost, as the reigns have been taken over by one Thomas Bellany and with close relations to the Allenbys, so it’s in good hands.

To get back in the swings of flash mobs, they’re keeping it simple. A lovely, classic, shopping centre freeze-up. At 12 noon on the 20th along the upper floor of the Grosvenor Centre (y’know, near where Zavvi used to be) you’ll freeze on the spot hopefully doing something funny and not just standing.

At 12:03, you’ll unfreeze (or if nobody else does it, then you’ll most likely pose a security threat) and go about your day. Classic flash mob. One I hope you’ll perform well.

Alas, thanks to university and the high price of train tickets nowadays, I can’t make it to this one despite really really really wanting to. So don’t cock it up. New wave of flashmobbers I demand you to make it the best one yet!

There’s details on Facebook and so say your attending if you are, and not if you’re not. I’m sure an idea of numbers would be a good thing.

Best of luck, Northampton. Don’t let me down. :)
