There. Now you can’t forget. =]
Nerve Radio – our lovely student radio station here in Bournemouth – has a tradition of switching on the FM transmitter for a couple of weeks leading up to Easter and this year is no different.
There’s shows aplenty with Phill Jupitus co-presenting with Jess and Guy for Breakfast 8-10am, late breakfast with Harry and Liam after that, lunch with Ruby and Johnny 1-2pm and drivetime with Steve and Sophie 4-6pm.
Of course, sandwiched between them in the morning and afternoon is some quality live shows like mine! Ahem. Also the likes of Charlie’s Channel Hop, Raj Kandola’s Decade Show and Ellie Simmons’ Live Wire. Argh, I can’t just choose single shows. It’s too difficult!
So it’s best to tune your radio dials to 87.7FM if you’re in or around the Bournemouth and Poole area, starting tomorrow Monday 15th and ending with a show at 9pm I do believe on Friday 26th, where we’ll all be partying it up.
But I hear you at the back! I know you probably don’t live in Bournemouth, so if you like you can listen at nerveradio.com from wherever you are in the world! Fabtastic!
So you’re probably wondering what my “student hour” is all about and, well, that’s a good question. This week’s theme is Finance and Jobs, so I’d like you to Twitter the studio @nerveradio like crazy telling me your thoughts, or email at matthew@nerveradio.com if you can’t fit it into 140 characters.
But as for actual content depends on what I feel like on the day. I have a bunch of stuff I can talk about involving student news and what’s going on in Bournemouth, but I don’t want to bore you. Let’s see how it goes. There might be an interview or two thrown in there, who knows!
So get listening. There’s quality student-made programming from 8am-midnight every day I do believe, so keep it Nerve for the next couple of weeks and we’ll love you long time
