Firstly, don’t take that invite. It’s Snoop Dogg for goodness sake.
Secondly, don’t brag about what you did on live television. It will never come off as cool as you had hoped.
Snoop Dogg’s in Europe, apparently. Or at least he was in Cardiff on the 8th. He was giving shoutouts to the people he wanted to appear at his show. There was Gareth Bale, Pippa Middleton and… this guy…
Mr Dogg wanted to meet up with his similarly green-fingered pal as he became famous for growing the world’s largest swede. Weighing in at about six stone, it’s no mean feat. But Snoop wanted to meet up for advice to see how he could get his own vegetation to grow larger, he announced while standing in front of a large, suspicious looking picture of foliage.
That he did. They met up and Ian Neale went backstage and shared some of his tips. And a joint. But he wasn’t meant to mention that bit. But I guess to enjoy anything Snoop Dogg does, you really do need a helping hand.
Mr Neale was quoted after as saying “I wouldn’t pay to see him”, which is fair enough as his loud Hawaiian shirt signalled to me he’s more of a Jay-Z kind of fellow, but I respect him for going anyway. Big up to the Giant Veg Massive.
